What are proxy cards?

Proxy cards are high-quality reproductions of trading cards intended for casual play, playtesting, and collecting. They are not official tournament-legal cards and should not be represented as authentic.

What's the difference between non-foil and foil?

Non-foil cards are printed on premium card stock with a standard matte finish. Foil cards feature a reflective, holographic finish that gives them a premium metallic look and feel.

How much do cards cost?

Non-foil cards are $2.00 CAD each and foil cards are $4.00 CAD each. Some cards may have custom pricing based on availability.

What is the minimum order amount?

Credit card orders require a $25.00 CAD minimum. If you choose Interac e-Transfer at checkout, there is no minimum order amount.

Why is there a minimum order amount for credit cards?

The $25.00 CAD minimum for credit card orders helps us protect both our customers and our business. Small transactions are commonly used to test stolen credit card numbers — a practice known as card testing. By setting a minimum, we make our store a less attractive target for this type of fraud, which ultimately keeps our payment processing secure and our prices fair for everyone.

Need a smaller order? No problem — just select Interac e-Transferas your payment method at checkout. There's no minimum order amount, and you can even save 20–30% on qualifying orders. Standard shipping fees still apply for orders under $100.

How much is shipping?

We charge a $10.00 CAD flat rate for standard shipping on all orders under $100. Orders of $100.00 CAD or more qualify for free shipping.

We also offer Canada Post Express Post for $25.00 CAD — perfect if you have a big game coming up and need your cards fast. Express Post replaces the standard shipping fee (you pay $25 instead of $10, not both).

Every order is packed with bubble wrap and proper protective packaging to ensure your cards arrive in mint condition.

Do you ship internationally?

No. We currently ship within Canada only. During checkout, you will only be able to enter a Canadian shipping address.

How long does shipping take?

Orders placed before 2:00 PM ET are typically shipped the same day — including weekends. Our fulfilment centre operates 7 days a week from 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM ET, so your cards are picked, inspected, and packed fast.

Once shipped, standard delivery typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your location. Express Post is faster, but delivery times depend on your area — check Canada Post's delivery estimator for specifics. Rural areas may take longer.

Do you charge tax?

No. The price you see is the price you pay — no additional taxes are applied at checkout.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. If you haven't received tracking details within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact us.

Can I return or exchange cards?

If you receive damaged or incorrect items, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order with your order details and a description of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Due to the nature of proxy cards, we do not accept returns for change of mind.

Where do your proxy cards come from? Are they from China?

We understand the concern. The proxy card printing ecosystem is well-known to us, and here is the reality: while many lower-quality proxies are mass-produced in China, there are only a handful of premium Asian suppliers capable of producing truly high-quality, replica-grade cards. Virtually every reputable proxy site — including the most popular ones — sources from these same suppliers. The reason is simple: printing businesses outside of Asia typically refuse to produce proxy cards due to perceived liability issues.

We use the same premium card stock as these top-tier suppliers. So the real question is: what makes us different?

Why buy from ProxyCards.ca instead of other proxy sites?

Most proxy sellers are US-based, which creates several disadvantages for Canadian buyers:

  • ×US taxes and customs charges at the border
  • ×Shipping delays — many sites only order from Asia after accumulating enough purchase orders, so you wait weeks
